We’re hosting a Free Pizza Lunch on Thursday 6 January 2022, 11.00am-2.00pm at the Old Mill Lane campus for those aged 16-18 and not currently in education, employment, or training to find out about the range of courses available and to build a personalised study programme.
At this free event, our friendly and helpful team will create you a personalised study programme that allows you to gain skills in a range of subject areas.
Whether it’s a mix of art, sport, digital and fashion; or construction, catering, games design and music; or anything in between, you can try the courses you want to learn more about and gain the skills that allow you to progress onto higher-level study or an apprenticeship.
“We’d love to see you at our event. We can build a personalised timetable for you to study the things you’re most interested in, and the best part is you can start now!”
For those who prefer a more hands-on approach to learning, then an apprenticeship could be the perfect choice. Apprenticeships allow students to earn a wage whilst gaining industry-specific knowledge and skills by working alongside experienced members of staff within their chosen sector. We offer over 75 apprenticeship programmes from Level 2 to 6 in industries such as Beauty Therapy, Leadership and Management, Sport, Childcare and Education Professions and Warehousing and Logistics.
Mel Jenkinson, Director of Recruitment, Marketing and Communications at Barnsley College, said: “If you’re aged 16-18 and not currently in education or training, we’d love to see you at our event.
