Our fantastic staff showing solidarity with Ukraine

Today (Tuesday 29 March, 2022) we are holding a College-wide day of solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

In response to the conflict, Yiannis Koursis, our Principal and CEO, and Bethanie Jacobs, President of the Students’ Union, have made a statement. To watch, take a look at the video below.

All College reception areas are decorated with sunflowers, the symbol of Ukraine, posters, and messages from staff and students. There is also a Walk to Freedom as the College attempts to walk a combined total of 3,200km – the distance from Kharkiv in the east of Ukraine to Barnsley, via Warsaw, Berlin and London. There is also Ukrainian-themed meals in Zest cafes.
