Our Art and Design students have produced visually exciting print-based work for the Limitation of Life Biomimicry Print exhibition held in the Sadler Room at the Cooper Gallery, Barnsley.

Students were required to explore print making techniques including reduction lino cut, wood cut, collograph and mono printing, as well as creating a digital repeat pattern wallpaper print.

Each student submitted black and white designs. Four works were then selected to be printed as a large-scale wood cut print and then went on to be featured in the exhibition.

Level 3 Art and Design student, Ella Black, said: “I found the work in the build-up and the exhibition itself rewarding. It allowed myself and the other students to get our work out there for everyone to see.”
