National Apprenticeship Week

About the event

We are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2024!

Apprenticeships are a great way for apprentices to learn the practical skills to succeed in their chosen industry – whilst also getting paid! Likewise, apprenticeships allow employers to develop their businesses by recruiting new talent or upskilling existing staff.

Throughout the week, we will be highlighting the value, benefits and opportunities apprenticeships provide on our social media channels, so follow us to keep updated and we’re hosting some events so you can find out about the apprenticeships we offer.

We’ll also provide key information for potential apprentices about how to apply for an apprenticeship, parents/carers and employers who want to recruit an apprentice or upskill their existing workforce.

The Government website has a range of resources and information to assist you.

This covers important topics such as helping a young person make an informed decision, training standards and the qualifications apprentices gain on completing their course.

If your child would prefer a more technical approach to learning, rather than following a purely academic pathway, or a work-based apprenticeship, then a T Level might be perfect choice.
