Great Barnsley Bake Off
Our Catering and Hospitality department are giving school pupils an opportunity to show off their dessert making skills!
The Great Barnsley Bake Off competition is our hunt for the best dessert recipe in town – the winner will receive a prize, and their dessert will be added to the fine dining menu in The Open Kitchen restaurant.
To enter, you’ll need to create a dessert of your choice using fresh ingredients (eg. no pre-prepared pastry or ice cream). Then, send us:
• Your recipe for four portions
• Photos of you making the dessert, the finished product and you holding the completed dessert
Entries must be emailed to hospitalitycomp@barnsley.ac.uk by 11.59pm on Friday 11 August. Good luck!
