  2. From September 2024, we will be offering a Engineering a Higher National Qualifications (HTQ). Visit the HTQ department page to find out about these qualifications.

  3. We have a brand new £3.5m Automotive Technologies Centre, giving our students access to cutting-edge motor vehicle training facilities.

  4. Over 200 apprentices study with the Engineering Department from a range of businesses.

  5. Skilled workers are in short supply in every single type of Engineering from Mechanical to Civil, so there’s sure to be plenty of career opportunities in the industry when y0u finish your qualification.

  6. Our Automotive Technologies students work on real cars in the vehicle garage providing you with hands-on practical experience to enhance your learning.

  7. The majority of our Engineering courses, apart from Automotive Technologies, are delivered in the College’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Centre which has excellent custom built engineering and electrical workshops.
