Student Services update including travel information

From Monday 8 March students who are eligible will receive their travel payment into their bank accounts to enable them to travel into college when required to do so.

In addition, food payments for eligible students continue to be made on a weekly basis until further notice.

Student Services are still accepting applications from students who have not yet applied, please encourage students to apply on the Financial Support page.

College Coaches from week commencing Monday 8 March

The College coach service will re-start from Monday 8 March providing morning and afternoon service. All students who had a place reserved previously will be contacted by Student Services to confirm their arrangements

If you need to catch the coach into College and have not previously registered, please email studentsupport@barnsley.ac.uk with your:

  • name
  • student number
  • details of where they will get onto the coach
  • confirmation of whether you will need a return journey (4:30pm Wigfield Farm and 5.00pm Old Mill Lane campus)

You should only catch the coach on confirmation that they have a reserved place from Student Services.

Places cannot be guaranteed due to reduced capacity on each coach.

Students are required to wear a face covering, unless exempt, and follow social distancing rules
