You are never too old to study at Barnsley College. Our courses are available to all and whilst some of the courses may not be suitable for adult learners, we will advise you on the best options to help you achieve your goals.

Barnsley College have free, flexible qualifications to help you achieve qualifications in English, maths and IT aimed at any age or ability which can help you progress onto further qualifications or help you gain employment.

We recommend that you don’t get put off by the entry requirements and continue to apply or contact us should you have any concerns. We will treat every application individually and advise you of the right courses and choices to suit your needs.

Most of our full time and part time study programmes start in September however there are various start dates for some courses and these are listed in our Part Time Course Guide which is issued twice each academic year, in September and January
