This course will start on Wednesday 8 January. Classes are every Wednesday between 1.15pm and 4.15pm, term-time only.
There is no requirement for you to have achieved any qualifications or units prior to undertaking this qualification. A reasonable standard of computing skills will be required.
Level 2 Award in Website Design and Development

If you are interested in learning more about web design then this course can take your skills to the next level. Suitable for those with some knowledge and experience, or learners who have completed the Level 1 Award in Web Design, this qualification is perfect if you want to start building more complex and detailed sites through the use of HTML and wireframe design and planning. You will need a basic level of computer literacy skills to study this course.
You will learn how to create a website using tools and techniques to add functionality, navigation buttons and hyperlinks. Utilising the skills and knowledge learnt at level 1 you will build upon more advance design techniques and website structure and user interface/experience.
You will develop knowledge and understanding of the core areas of website design.
