You are required to complete written assignments and a micro-teach to be achieved at Level 3.
The assignments are broken down into smaller assessment tasks, which have an emphasis on creative and ‘hands on’ learning.
The course will start again in January, with classes on Wednesdays 1:15pm - 4:30pm. It will run for 12 weeks.
You will take part in an enrolment and information session plus an interview prior to being enrolled onto the programme.
The Award in Education and Training Level 3 accredited by Training Qualifications UK.
(This qualification is a replacement for PTLS).

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introduction to teaching. This will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback.
This award comprises of the three following units which total 12 credits:

You will need to provide your own writing materials, paper and ring binders. A calculator and dictionary are also desirable.

This course costs £495. There is no funding available for this course, so all learners must pay the full fee. This cost includes the registration and certification fee.
