All work is practical, with the requirement for some home learning to help develop your skills.
This course starts on 14 January and will run for 8 weeks every Tuesday between 6.00pm and 8.30pm (term-time only).
You must have a keen interest in developing your artistic skills within the tattooing industry. This course is suitable for anyone 16 or above, although all learners must pay the full course fee. If you are aged 16-18 you must also be in full-time education to be able to join this class.
There is no qualification with this course.
The course will focus on illustration and drawing skills required for professional tattooing. Sessions will cover the history and skills of the tattooing industry and help guide your personal vision and development. Through this development you will be able to apply your ideas for tattoos and build your own skills. All materials are provided as part of the programme. The course explores traditional and contemporary design ideas drawing from Japanese and Western influences.

On completion you can study the Advanced class, starting in January, and continue to develop your skills for apprenticeships in the Tattoo industry.
This course costs £180. There is no funding available for this course so all learners must pay this fee.
