Course overview

You have learnt the basics and know your way around a camera, you feel confident enough taking photos and gaining the look you set out for and now you’re ready to explore more photography areas in depth.

We can help you explore several new areas of photography and teach you how to apply your skills to learn new techniques and styles. Working through several small projects we will push your skills to develop as you find a style you are comfortable with. This course will cover genre based areas of the photography industry in more depth such as studio, new-born, wedding, travel, portraiture and more.

Both photography and editing will take place as you explore the theories behind the compositional make up of an image and how to create focus and draw in new detail to photos post editing.

During your sessions you will work in the studio, outdoors (weather permitted) and classroom covering a selection of the following areas of the photography industry:

  • Portraiture
  • New-born/Infants

  • Food/catering
