This course next starts on 14 January. Classes will run every Tuesday between 6.00pm and 8.30pm for 8 weeks, term-time only.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course other than you must be over 16 years old.
Although no formal qualification will be achieved, you will achieve invaluable experience and be awarded with a Barnsley College certificate.

Learn the most important functions and techniques of digital photography including Composition, Rule of Thirds, your DSLR and Lenses, Crop sensors and settings, Lighting and arrangement.
Getting you one step closer to taking the perfect shot, learn how inspiring and fun capturing that unforgettable moment can be! You can use the skills learned on this course and apply them immediately in your daily life or even begin a career in professional photography.
The course will also cover elements of post photo editing techniques using the appropriate industry standard software, such as Adobe Photoshop.
A series of studio sessions taking beginner photographers through all the basics of photography to improve skills, knowledge, and composition.

A camera will be provided if you do not have your own.
On completion you could study one of our Intermediate Photography courses.
