Our Performing Arts and Production course is perfect for aspiring actors, singers, dancers or theatre producers. Develop confidence, voice, movement, and acting skills through practical training and live performances. Study units in acting, musical theatre, performing, dance, and technical skills. Gain experience in various productions and end-of-year showcases. Prepare for a dynamic career on stage, TV, or film.
The course is very practical and will help you to develop your confidence and performance skills on the stage. The course develops your voice, projection, movement, acting skills and musical theatre skills. You will participate in College performances which will take place in various locations. You will have the opportunity to participate in College performances and end-of-year showcases, helping you to develop as a performer. You will study a variety of units including:

You will need to have pens, paper and appropriate clothing for practical activities. If you play an instrument you may need to have access to this as well on occasions.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.
If you are aged 16 – 19 and don’t hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths, you will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards achieving a higher grade in English and Maths, we can help you do that too and we offer Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) which can be added to your study programme.
If you’re aged 19 or above and don’t hold a a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths we can help. We offer FREE English and Maths qualifications that can be studied on a part-time basis, subject to eligibility.
