Course overview

This cookery course is for students aged 10-16. Want to learn pro techniques? Our expert chef will share industry secrets that elevate your cooking. You’ll create a dessert using seasonal ingredients and various skills learned. All ingredients provided, just bring a large container to take your dish home. You’ll produce a delicious dessert course, mastering techniques and secrets shared by our professional chef.

 

Course content

On this cookery course, the young people will make cheesecake and biscuits.

No assessment.

Please wear comfortable trousers a shirt and sturdy shoes, no trainers, plimsoles, or open sandals. College will provide an apron, ingredients and all other equipment. Please just bring along a large tub to take your dessert home.

Upon leaving school, you can progress onto Culinary Skills Level 2.

How much does the course cost?

This course costs £40. There is no funding available for this course, so all learners must pay the full fee.
