Start Date / Duration

The course will run on Saturday 5 October 2024 9:30am - 4:30pm and one other evening during the week commencing Monday 25 November 2024.

Entry requirements

You will need to hold a Level 1 qualification or above. This does not need to be subject specific.

An eye treatments qualification would be an advantage, but not essential.

You will be invited for a mandatory skin patch test close to the start of the course if you have enrolled so that you can then begin the course.

You will achieve

A CPD-accredited certificate.

Course overview

Classic lash extensions are applied on each individual lash to add volume and length to the lashes, this is an extremely popular service in the beauty industry.

This course is for anyone who wants to extend the services they currently offer, or even for a beginner starting to build up their beauty therapy qualifications to become a qualified lash technician. The course will give you a qualification to offer classic lashes as a service to customers.

Course content

You will:

  • Study Health and Safety
  • Learn the theory behind classic lashes
  • Develop your skin testing skills
  • Develop your consultation skills
  • Treatment plan and records
  • Learn how to apply lashes
  • Develop your aftercare advice

You will complete a knowledge check test and a practical assessment.

You will need to bring a client in for the second session for your practical assessment. The client must have a skin test 48 hours prior to the day course. The test can be carried out in our Hair and Beauty reception. Please contact the reception by calling 01226 216 273 to confirm opening times.

  • Writing stationery
  • Uniform (black salon wear e.g., a tunic or all black clothing and a full cover shoe)
  • All equipment and materials will be provided for this course. You will be advised by the tutor on the day about lash kits that you may wish to purchase for yourself.
  • A client available for the evening session so that you can complete your practical assessment.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE NATURAL LASHES AT THE START OF THE COURSE.

Upon completion, you can offer Classic Lashes as a service. You may also wish to enrol on another programme such as Lash Lift or Laminating Brows.

 

How much does the course cost?

This course costs £150. There is no funding available for this course, so all learners must pay the full fee. You will need to purchase a kit after your first session so that you can practise your skills and where to purchase kit will be advised during your first session.
