This course will start on Monday 8 September 2025. It will run on Monday evenings 5:30pm - 9pm for 33 weeks (not including the 2 weeks in December when college is closed).

Want to become the next celebrity make-up artist? Dreaming of owning your own beauty salon? Maybe you enjoy finding out the latest beauty tips and want to find out how to apply them?
On this course, you will develop your knowledge, understanding and practical skills required for success within the beauty industry.
This course has a compulsory six weeks introductory period, from when it starts, that will cover important skills and knowledge necessary for progression during the course.

You will be required to purchase an essential equipment kit and uniform before starting the course. The total cost of the kit and uniform will be approximately £250 and can be purchased from the department supplier. The department staff will provide you with details of how you can order if you choose to come and enrol. You may be eligible for financial support towards the cost of the kit and uniform.
On completion of the programme, you may wish to progress onto a Level 3 Beauty Therapy course.
This course costs £750. There may be funding available for this course depending on circumstances. The introductory period, which must be completed, costs £85. There is no funding available for the introductory period, so all learners must pay this fee.
