Course overview

This course is a fantastic opportunity for you to extend the services you currently offer, or if you’re a beginner starting to build up your beauty qualifications. By completing this course, you will be able to offer the very popular gel polish service.

Course content

You will:

Learn about Health and Safety
Increase your product knowledge
Develop your consultation skills
Treatment plans and records
Develop your practical skills of applying French and dark gel polish
Develop your aftercare advice

You will be asked to complete a knowledge check test and a practical observation.

Writing stationery
Uniform (black salon wear e.g., a tunic or all black clothing and a full cover shoe)
A client available to come in from 1pm
All equipment and materials will be provided for this course. You will be advised by the tutor on the day about which nail kit you may wish to purchase for yourself.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE ALL NATURAL NAILS ON THIS DAY.

You can offer gel polish as a service. You may also wish to enrol on another part-time course in our beauty department.
