You will be assessed using a range of methods such as practical tasks and written coursework within a portfolio of evidence. This portfolio will be used to determine your grade.
This course is starting on Tuesday 7 January. Lessons are every Tuesday between 9.15am and 12.30pm for 12 weeks, term-time only.
There is no requirement for you to have achieved any qualifications or units prior to undertaking this qualification, however a reasonable standard of computing skills will be required.

Learn programming and coding in Python with our Digital Development course. Develop essential workplace skills, build a portfolio with Git-based projects, and collaborate on a team assignment. Gain knowledge in Digital Development, complete Python modules, and use digital tools to enhance teamwork.
You will produce a portfolio of small programming projects, one of which will be as part of a team, hosting those projects on a Git-based code sharing platform.
You will develop your knowledge and understanding of the core areas of Digital Development and gain an introduction to the skills required in the Digital Development sector.
You will complete two Python programming modules and use digital tools to contribute to team projects.

Part-time courses are only available for learners who are 19 years old and above.
