You will will gain a Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Construction Management for England (HTQ).
This HTQ programme will teach you essential construction skills and knowledge. Your studies will include sustainability, environmental impacts, construction technology, financial management, legal requirements, and building information modelling. You will also develop important transferable skills like communication, teamwork, research, and analysis. This course will prepare you for further education or employment in the construction industry.
You will gain a wide range of construction knowledge linked to practical skills gained through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios.
You are involved in vocational activities that will help you to develop behaviours (the attitudes and approaches required for competence) and transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis, which are highly valued in Higher Education and in the workplace.
By the end of Level 4, you will have sound knowledge of the basic concepts of construction; be competent in a range of subject-specific skills; as well as holding the general skills and qualities relevant to key areas of construction.
