You will complete one open book online exam and one practical assessment. The dates are set by the awarding organisation.
The next start date is TBC. Classes are on a Friday 8.30am-4.30pm. (term time only) The course runs for 10 weeks. Deferment of the course may be approved by the head of department under exceptional circumstances.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Please note there will be a requirement to complete an initial assessment in English. This is to ensure you have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.

On achievement of your National General Certificate, you will be eligible to apply for IOSH Technical professional membership. You could also continue your professional development by studying another part-time course.
This course costs £1295. The cost of the course includes text books, registration fees and exam costs. Please note, if you require an exam resit this will come at an additional cost of £89 per exam.
