There will be continuous assessment of practical and theory work. Assessment of theory work will be in the form of written tests which are collated along with evidence of practical and oral assessments in a portfolio.
This course commences in September and will be completed in one year.

You will achieve:
FBEA
Develop your practical beauty therapy skills including face and body electrotherapy and body massage. You’ll learn advanced treatments and can offer bespoke services like body massage, classic lashes, and facial and body electricals. You can work in salons, spas, or start your own business. With skills like body treatments, facial electrics, and stone therapy, you’ll always be in demand and have a variety-filled career!

You will required to purchase an essential kit, uniform, shoes and text books before starting the course which are ordered using the order forms which will be provided at the interview.
On completion of the programme, you may wish to progress to further study on one of our Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualifications in a different route e.g. nail services.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.
If you are aged 16 – 19 and don’t hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths, you will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards achieving a higher grade in English and Maths, we can help you do that too and we offer Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) which can be added to your study programme.
If you’re aged 19 or above and don’t hold a a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths we can help. We offer FREE English and Maths qualifications that can be studied on a part-time basis, subject to eligibility.
