Barnsley College Job Shop – The Job Shop is a one stop shop for anything relating to careers information, advice and guidance for our students including interview preparation and CV and job application support.
Barnsley Community and Voluntary Services (CVS) – Barnsley CVS provides support to the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Barnsley. They provide training, develop partnerships and distribute grants. They support with volunteer recruitment.
BMBC Inclusive Offer – BMBC help to create options for people who need extra support so they can gain value from work. This allows them to gain valuable skills, have high goals and go on to enjoy work in the future.
BMBC Supported Employment and Volunteering Service – BMBC help people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties or autism to learn new skills and flourish in the workplace. They can help you to find and keep a job or volunteering role.
Employment is For Everyone – Employment is for Everyone aiming to improve the employment opportunities for autistic people and people with a learning disability.
Jobcentre Plus – Jobcentre Plus can administer claims Jobseeker’s Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance and Income Support.
Oakwell Training – Oakwell Training provide a wide range of work-based training courses to individuals and organisations in Barnsley and beyond. They provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students in various fields.
Project Search – Project Search is a transition to work program for people with disabilities. DFN works with the NHS to provide working opportunities in hospital roles like volunteering, IT, stores and more.
Targeted Information, Advice and Guidance (TIAG) – TIAG gives impartial careers advice to young people. They encourage, support and help you get into education, employment or training.
Targeted Youth Support Service – Live Well Barnsley’s Targeted Youth Support Service works with young people aged 11-19 years (and those up to 25 with additional needs) to provide targeted support either on a one-to-one basis or as part of a group or project.
