The Barnsley College Business Centre is our latest facility and is part of the SciTech Digital Innovation Hub. It has been opened in a fantastic collaboration with the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce.

The Business Centre has recently been refurbished to a high specification including five incubation pods that are available to start-up businesses that are looking to grow and develop in their first 12 months.  There is also ‘maker space’ available for meetings and a large conference room.

Users of the space will have access not only to the office space but also to tailored business support and guidance from representatives at the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce.

Those utilising the facilities would also become involved in the College’s entrepreneurial initiative, Talent United. This is a programme which aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, by providing students with employer-led and employer-based opportunities.
