We are proud to announce our participation in Modular Acceleration Programme (MAP) enterprising HN Flex trial, offering new opportunities for those in the Construction and Digital sectors to upskill at no cost to learners or employers.
As one of 20 selected national training providers, we will deliver specialised modules aimed at developing the skills of workers in the fast-growing sectors of Digital and Construction, helping to reduce the current skills gap.
These HN Flex modules have been designed in partnership with employers to meet industry needs and ensure that today’s employees can advance their skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen field and become industry experts.
What is HN Flex?
HN Flex is an adaptable educational offering from Pearson that delivers bite-sized knowledge, skills, and behaviour units from Higher National qualifications at levels 4 and 5.
These units are designed to be easily integrated into the learners’ schedules, making them ideal for those who are employed and seeking to enhance their skills or for individuals looking to upskill or reskill for new employment opportunities.
HN Flex cater to the evolving needs of the workforce, providing flexible, short-term learning solutions for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and career progression.
This is the perfect opportunity for those looking to build their CV and advance in the Construction or Digital industries, all while working towards a nationally recognised university-level qualification.
Study selected units at no cost to you
Under the Modular Acceleration Programme, we are able to offer selected HN Flex units at no cost to students or employers.
As part of the fully funded offering, you can undertake the following combined units:
- Digital: Networking (15 credits) and Cyber Security (15 credits)
- Construction: Digital Applications for Construction Information (15 credits) and Building Information Modelling (15 credits)
Participants will not need to repay any tuition fees to study the combined two units as part of this package, although the funding accessed will reduce the amount remaining in your future Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE) account. This funding can be accessed by any student aged between 19 and 60 who lives in England. Visit the Gov website for more information about the Modular Acceleration Programme or LLE.
The trial will run until August 2025. Applications are open now with courses starting from September 2024.
