Applying for a Higher Education course

Full-time applicants

To apply for a full-time course you need to submit your application via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). To submit your application visit www.ucas.com

You can see all the courses we offer on our HE homepage.

Applications for 2025 entry for Oxford, Cambridge and most courses in medicine, dentistry and veterinary science is 15 October 2024. The application deadline for all other courses is 29 January 2025. Don’t worry if you miss the deadline, you can still apply to study Higher Education at Barnsley College University Centre via UCAS up until the summer. However, please be aware that offers are dependent on the availability of places so we would advise you to apply early.

If your current school or college is registered with UCAS just ask your tutor or careers advisor for help. If you’re not currently in education but are based in the UK you can apply online through UCAS independently. The UCAS website provides full instructions on the application process.

Once you’ve applied we’ll communicate with you regularly throughout the whole process, from interview to offer and enrolment.

For more information on applying, visit the guidance pages on the UCAS website.
